Struggling with bloating, digestive discomfort, or gut health issues that just won’t go away? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I’m Dr. Harriet Campbell, a specialist in gut health & digestive health, here to help you feel better, regain your energy, and take back control of your well-being.

I am both a medical doctor and also a registered nutritional therapist. I have been an NHS GP for 28 years, and have worked with many people with chronic digestive issues such as bloating, acid reflux, constipation/diarrhoea, tiredness and abdominal discomfort, resulting in being diagnosed with a catchall label of Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
I have witnessed first-hand their frustration when conventional medical treatment repeatedly fails to deliver a real improvement. To improve symptoms we need to address root causes and not simply treat symptoms. I wanted to take a different approach with my patients so undertook further training in Functional Medicine with the Institute for Functional Medicine, and to additionally qualify as a Nutritional Therapist with the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
My approach is based on the foundational Functional Medicine principles of considering the specific impact of nutrition, lifestyle, environment, genetics and psychology on each individual’s health.
Every person is different, meaning that their health will be affected in different ways. So, one condition may have many causes and one cause may result in many conditions.
This personalised approach enables treatment to be targeted at the root causes of symptoms for that individual patient. My years of experience in General Practice, in combination with my nutritional therapy training, places me in the unique position of fully understanding and appreciating your health journey on all levels, and hence working effectively with you to transform your digestive and gut health.

If this sounds familiar and a conventional medical approach isn’t helping, then this programme is ideal. More intensive support and mentoring will be provided by alternate week follow-up sessions.

Intensive

Are your digestive and health issues chronic, and significantly and regularly impacting on your everyday life? Has a conventional medical approach not helped? If this sounds familiar and you need more intensive support and accountability, then this programme will suit you well. My experience as a GP, combined with functional medicine and nutritional training, enable me to take a fresh approach in revisiting and understanding your health journey, be it conventional or otherwise. Intensive support, mentoring and accountability will be provided by weekly follow-up sessions.
